Clipex Beefy Fence Posts

Bigger & Stronger

These solid 6.3kg posts are a bigger and stronger than ever. Ideal for replacing rotten timbers, for use in boundaries, lane-ways and heavy stock pressure areas.

They come with the Clipex clip-in system installed, so they're incredibly fast and easy to use - just like our standard clipex posts

There's a stronger way to fence

CLIPEX Beefy posts are the larger version of Standard Clipex posts. After Hot dipped Galvanising, they weigh in at 6.3 kg for a 1.8m length. The profile section differs slightly from a standard Y section, have 2 slightly bent flanges towards the end. These give increased surface area in the ground, as well as help reduce twisting, and increasing the lateral strength.

This makes them ideal for:

  • Concrete or timber replacements
  • high stock pressure areas
  • strengthening up existing fence-lines

Instead of the old hole in the post, they use the same patent pending slot and rotating retainer clip used in our standard posts. These allow fencing wire to easily fall into the post and lock itself in, preventing the wire from escaping. If you need to un-clip the wire from the post, you can easily release the clip by hand.

The revolutionary clip-in assembly is now in its third production generation and is stronger and more robust than ever. Each assembly includes:

  • 1 traditional hole (designed for existing electric insulator add-ons)
  • 1 L shaped slot that holds the wire
  • 1 Stainless steel clip
  • 2 solid stainless steel machine rivets
The clips and pins are first inserted into to the post, then both pins are riveted to the post with a 10 tonne press, and checked for working assembly. Both the clips and the pins are solid Stainless Steel, so you can be sure CLIPEX posts will continue to hold your wire in place regardless of the tough Australian Conditions.

The advantages

The Clipex fencing system offers a range of advantages, depending on what type of fence is being used.

For Plain and Barb Wire fences

  • You save most of the time spent tying off
  • You save the cost and hassle of carrying around tie wire
  • Save your back bending over to tie off, and your wrists from tying
  • As the wire stretches you can quickly "un-clip" your barb and easily re-strain it

For Hingejoint and fabricated fences

  • You save most of the time spent tying off line wires and attaching the hingejoint
  • With Clipex wire - More horizontal wires get attached
  • The horizontals are held apart at the right distances, forming a more formidable barrier
  • Save your back bending over to tie off, and your wrists from tying
  • As the wire stretches you can quickly "un-clip" your barb and easily re-strain it

For Running Wires through holes

  • You no longer have to run wires through the holes, which can damage the wire life
  • You can run out multiple wires at once, without stopping
  • Save your back bending over to thread wire

Other advantages

Maintenance tasks such as fixing broken wire, replacing pickets, pulling down sections of fence are a lot quicker and easier.
